For my Card, I used a combination of two stamp sets. I used the April Stamp of the Month called "Typed Note" and "Flowers for Mom".
I LOVE this SOTM because of the many sentiments included in the set. Since I used this card as one of my club cards, I was able to let them substitute another sentiment if they didn't want to make a Mother's Day Card.
I used Hot Pink Flower Soft for the center of the flower. Pink Flamingo Dots to embellish the upper left corner and a Bow made from the Pixie Extra Thick Twine.
I just noticed as posting this that I used the wrong stamp for Happy Mother's Day. I used the one from "Holiday Tags". I had this stamp on a block from a previous card and picked it up instead of the one from the Typed Note set.
Now, hop on over to Crystal's Blog and see what awesome artwork she has to share.
Beautiful card! I love the combination of the stamp sets with the Brushed paper.
ReplyDeleteI think sometime mistakes make something beautiful. What a lovely Mother's Day card.

ReplyDeleteI love your pink typewriter image--it looks so good paired with the flowers from Brushed paper pack. I wouldn't have thought to do that so thanks for the inspiration. Your card looks great!

How pretty!! And stamping the typewriter in a "non" typewriter color is PERFECT!! I haven't "been out of the box" in a while - What wonderful inspiration you have given me! :)
ReplyDeleteNancy, I always look forward to your cards. This is wonderful and I love the Mother's Day card in your previous post too!
