My card today uses the Close to my Heart January Stamp of the Month, "Adore You".
The hearts were die cut using Pomegranate Cardstock and the CTMH Thin Cut Heart Dies. The background and the solid heart was embossed with a retired Hearts embossing folder.
I punched some cute little Gold Glitter hearts from and scattered them around the card.
Now Hop on over to Krista's Blog and see her fabulous Eye Candy.
The Close to my Heart January Stamp of the month, "Adore You" is such a Beautiful stamp set. This is not just a Valentine set but can be used for most occasions. However, for my class this month, we are making just Valentines.
This is the first card of my 3 card workshop this month.
Stop by in a few days to see the other two. Final card on the 10th.
Lots of dimension on this card. The Base was Dry Embossed using a Spellbinders Embossing folder. The edges were then swiped with VeraMark Embossing Ink then Gold embossing powder was poured over the edges and heated.
The Heart and flowers in lower left corner were stamped and heat embossed with Gold EP, then fussy cut out. I used a small dot embossing folder on the heart.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and I stamped it on a cricut cut. The outside around the sentiment is Gold Cardstock.
Gold shimmer trim was added to the top and a gold heart was punched from Gold Glitter cardstock. I punched two holed in the heart and tied some gold and jute twine through it.
The Big heart and the flowers were colored in using the NEW CTMH GOLD Shimmer brush. Very elegant but the picture does not show it off very well.
I also have a tiny heart punch and punched out some gold glitter hearts. I used three in the bottom right corner and then punched out small circles and added them to the centers of the flowers.
