Remarkable Wreath Fall

Here is the third card my club made for July. I wanted to base my July cards on stamps that are retiring at the end of the month.  Along with the retiring stamp set, I gave a sneak peak to the NEW Path Finding Paper Pack that will be available on August 1st.

The embossing folder I used for the background is the beautiful 5x7 Close to my Heart embossing folder called Damask. I then swiped the Autumn Terracotta Ink Pad right over the raised area of the embossing.

The wreath was stamped with chocolate, then the leaves were inked with Autumn Terracotta and rolled in Olive.

Remarkable Wreath Gift Card Holder

Only two more weeks left to order form the Spring/Summer Close to my Heart Idea Book. I chose one of the retiring stamp sets, called Remarkable Wreaths for my club cards this month. Wanted my customers to seer the beauty of this stamp set and get it before it's gone forever.

I used the NEW Yuletide Carol Christmas paper that will be available on August 1st.  For the pine branch in the upper left corner and also for the inside of the card, along with the Peach on Earth inside, I used the stamp set from the NEW Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go. The bottom was left blank for your personal message.

My cards today focus on the retiring set Words of Comfort. I really wish CTMH wouldn't retire sentiment stamps so often. I think this is a fabulous set. It can be used for so many occasions. The card above I used for a friend who is going though a really hard time with the illness of her husband.

The card below is basically the same card but the sentiment is for a Sympathy card. Below that is how I used it for the inside of a graduation card. The Love & Hugs went perfect before our signatures. Words of Comfort is retiring the end of this month, so don't wait too long to get it.

In addition to that stamp set, I also used the Pick A Posey stamp set. This is such a beautiful set. My colors are Smoothie and Olive.

The background was made with the exclusive Quatrefoil Embossing Folder
