Traditional Merry Christmas

Here is card #2 for my November Card Class

I started this card by adding stripes on the green background paper with the Broad point Embossing Ink Pen. Then adding Gold Tinsel Embossing powder in one direction, then Red Tinsel EP going the opposite direction.
I then cut out the panel with the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die

All of the images used on this card are form the Traditional Holiday Stamp Set on special during October and November 2019.

An ornament was die cut with the Custom Ornament Thin Cuts, then stamped with the Truck and tree with Green ink, then on scrap paper, with Red Ink and fussy cut.
The Pine cones and branches were also stamped and fussy cut.

The card is all tied up with white & Gold Skinny Ribbon

Hello and Welcome to the November Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

If you've come here from Joyce's Blog then you are on the right track. If you've just happened upon my blog, just keep hoping until you get right back here.

This is the last month to order the Holiday Cheer Ornament and Tag Kit. You can link up to this kit in the sidebar.

My card today uses several Fantastic Stamps from this kit as well as the ornament dies and stamps available until the end of December.

The White Background Panel was dry embossed with the Snowflake Embossing Folder then cut into 3 equal strips and attached to the Candy Apple Panel.

The ornament was cut out of Candy Apple Cardstock using the Custom Ornament Thin Cuts then stamped with Ruby Ink and the plaid stamp from the For The Tree Stamp Set. The top of the ornament was die cut from Gold Glitter Cardstock

The Santa, Holly  and Sentiment were all stamped from the Whimsical Holiday Stamp Set included in the kit, OR, it may be purchased Separately.

The Holly was colored with the Dark Red and Dull Green TriBlend Alcohol Markers.  The Face of the Santa uses the Fair Skin and Pale Pink TriBlend Markers.

I then used Christmas Red Stickles Santa's Hat and Glisten Stickles for Santa's Mustache.
I used the Clear Shimmer Brush on the Beard.

Autumn Air - I Love Fall

Here is another Fall card. I absolutely LOVE the fall season with all of it's vibrant colors. I live in NE Pennsylvania, so I can't wait for Peak season for our trees.

I started this card by sanding the CTMH white core New England Ivy Cardstock in both directions.
I stamped the designs from the Hawthorn SB Stamps in the corners with New England Ivy Ink and then splattered the entire front with watered down White Paint.

I then started stamping the leaves by using the following Inks: Goldrush, Ruby, Paprika, and Fern. Then Fussy Cut them all out.
The Big Maple leaf is from the Hawthorn SB Stamps and the smaller ones are from the Autum Air October Stamp of the Month

The word Fall was stamped with VersaMark InkWhite Embossing Powder onto Sangria Cardstock, then shadow stamped to the left with Sangria Ink. It's hard to see this on the picture.

I die cut two hearts using the Stitched Hearts Dies and stamped the plaid onto the bigger one using the Heart Pattern Stamps along with Goldrush and Fern Inks. The "I LOVE" from the Autumn Air Set was stamped with Paprika Ink onto the small heart.

I finished off the card by die cutting one of the Layered Leaves Thin Cuts using Gold Foil Cardstock, cutting the pieces apart, and stuck them in among the stamped leaves.

DL.Art - Fall
2 Sisters on the Blog - Fall

October 2019 - Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the October Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

If you've come here from Stephanie Huber's Page then you are on the right track. If you've just happened upon my blog, just keep hoping until you get right back here.

It's October already. Fall is in the air and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Not to mention that it's the last month to order from the CTMH September/October Seasonal Catalog. If you'd like to see what's ending this month, you can view any of our catalogs Right Here.

My Card today uses a combination of the Gobble Til You Wobble Stamp Set as well as the October Stamp of the Month, Autumn Air.
The Sentiment was stamped with Paprika Ink.

The Kraft CS was Stamped with Toffee Ink using the Leaves and Acorn from the Autumn Air SOTM.

The main images were colored using the Tri Blend Alcohol Markers then fussy cut out.

As well as using the stamps from the Seasonal Catalog, I used the Stitched Rectangle Frames from the yearly Core Catalog,  to cut the Kraft and Fern Cardstock.
From this same Core catalog, I used the Strokes of an Artist Stamp Set to ground the Turkey.

The Bow was made by pulling apart some discontinued Burlap Ribbon and making a bow with it.

Now Hop on over to Joyce's Blog, where you may have started, or to get the entire list in case you got lost.

Autumn Blessings Give Thanks Card

A Touch of Fall is in the Air and it's time for making Thanksgiving and Fall Cards.
I'm just loving the September/October CTMH Catalog. So many gorgeous products to use and only two months to do so.

I started this card by embossing the Stitched Circle Embossing Folder on Paprika White Core  Cardstock
I then lightly sanded over the raised area.

I also sanded the strip of Paprika cardstock and stamped four pumpkins from the Autumn Blessing Stamp set

The Sentiment is from the Autumn Barn Stamp Set which is a Hostess Only set for Sept./Oct.
I cut the largest Heart from the Basic Hearts Thin Cuts and stamped the sentiment on the heart.

The edges of the Dry Embossed Panel and the Heart were swiped with Vera Mark Ink and applied Gold Embossing Powder and Heat set it.

The Large Pumpkin was stamped on Watercolor Paper, colored with Paprika ink and a water brush and then colored over that with the Gold Shimmer Brush

A Four Loop Bow was made with the Gold Embellishing Thread
