February SOTM Blog Hop - Thoughtful Tidings

Welcome to the February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. Today starts the first day of the New Spring/Summer Close to my Heart Idea Book and we’re kicking it off with this fabulous stamp of the month called Thoughtful Tidings.

If you’ve come here from Elizabeth’s Blog, you’re on the right track. If you just happened upon my blog, you can just continue from here because it just goes in a complete circle.

I love how this set coordinates with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge. The red markings above on the stamp set above shows which items can be cut to match.

You can pick up this stamp set one of two ways.
You can buy it outright for $17.95 or, the best value is to place a $50 order and get it for only $5.00. And with the New Catalog availabled to order from starting today, February 1st, there is so much to choose from.
This stamp set is only available until February 29, 2012. Visit my website to order.

With Valentines Day fast approaching, I chose to use the “We Love You” stamp to make an Easel Valentine Card. Most Valentine sentiments say I Love You but this one is just perfect to send a card to someone when it’s from me and my husband. It’s perfect to send to our married children.

The papers used for my card are from the New Stella Paper pack.

The Circle flower and all hearts were cut from the CTMH exclusive Cricut cartridge, Art Philosophy.

The center of the circle is one of the small Wooden Badge Buttons that I stamped on.

The red swirly sparkles are NEW and are called Sparkles Flourishes. They come in clear but you can use a Sharpy Marker to color them. I used a red Copic Marker to color mine. I actually cut it apart in several pieces to make it fit where I needed them.

After cutting the small hearts with the Cricut AP, I covered them with Red Glitter Gel, as well as the tiny heart and the word LOVE.

I added more Bling with the Red Sparkles.

The Happy Valentines Day is from the December SOTM but I just had to use it the font is so darn pretty.

The Hand Stitching was done with matching Tulip Embroidery Floss in my own unique design to look like little hearts all around the card.

Now hop on over to Terrie’s Blog and see what beautiful creation she has for you.
Please leave us all a little love in our comment section. It makes us smile!!!
