Joyful Stars June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars June Blog Hop. This hop features Current Close to my Heart Products by 10 fabulous and talented Consultants.

If you've come here from Betty's Blog you're on the right track. If you just happened upon my blog, that's fine, just continue from here and when you get back to me, you know you've seen them all.

Please leave us a little lovin' in our comments. We Love hearing from you! *Ü*

My card today uses the June Stamp of the Month, Ice Cream Dream. This is the perfect stamp set for a side step card.

The background paper is the Thistle resist side from the Whimsy Fundamentals collection. I sponged over it with Thistle ink to make it more dimensional.

The images were all colored in with our ShinHan markers. If you have CTMH papers and products and have never tried these awesome alcohol markers, you really need to try them out. The marker colors match beautifully with our papers.

Now hop on over to Andrea's Blog to see what awesome artwork she has for you.

Cheer Up Buttercup

Here is the 2nd of the 3 Cards I'm teaching this month.

This card uses the Close to my Heart Shower Flower Stamp set along with the Hostess Only stamp set called Tagged with Love. The flowers and leaves were all stamped, fussy cut and mounted with foam tape.

I used the Hopscotch Paper pack for this background.
Ink Colors used are Sunset, Lagoon, Glacier, Flaxen and sweetleaf.

The stamped tag is from the Tagged with love set, but the tag matches up with the CTMH exclusive Cricut cartridge, Art Philosophy.
The tag was tied with a piece of the Flaxen Extra Thick Twine.

The matting behind the tag is a Spellbinders Die.

Challenges for this card.
Card and Scrap - Use Dies
Crafty Hazelnut's  - Use Patterned Paper

Ice Cream Dreams

Here is card #1 of 3 that my June classes will be making. It's called a latch card. The rest of the cards will be posted within the next 3 days.

I used the Close to my Heart June Stamp of the Month, Ice Cream Dreams, which can be purchased for only $5 with a qualifying purchase.

The papers used are from the CTMH Confetti Wishes paper pack which will be retiring the end of next month.

The Ice Cream and cone were stamped right on colored cardstock and cut out then shaded with the coordinating colors of inks.

I tied Thistle Extra Thick Twine around the area where the card bends.

The starting inspiration for this card came from a sketch challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Other Challenges for this card:
Crafty Calender - Fancy Fold Cards
Didi Designs - Use die cuts
Wags 'n Whiskers - Seeing Spots

Seaside Greetings, Father's Day Card

Wow, I can't believe I forgot to post the 3rd of 3 cards for my May class. I started Drafting it and forgot about it.

I used the Seaside Greetings Stamp set and the Seaside Paper Pack for my card. This is the perfect set for Masculine cards.
